With over 40 years in the financial services industry, Jim brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping people achieve peace of mind through sound financial and estate planning. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Registered Investment Advisor (IAR), licensed insurance professional and Certified Legal Document Preparer (AZCLDP# 80177), Jim offers comprehensive guidance that integrates both financial advice and relevant information that enables clients to make informed decisions in a ‘no sales pressure’ environment.

At EPS Wealth Management, Jim and the EPS Team specialize in crafting customized estate and financial plans that include retirement planning, wealth accumulation strategies, wills, trusts, and business entity formations tailored to each client’s unique goals. He has guided hundreds of individuals, families, and business owners through complex decisions with clarity and care, consistently delivering solution-oriented strategies designed to grow and protect wealth.

Jim’s approach combines expert knowledge and diligent research with a personal touch, ensuring that every plan and decision reflects our clients’ values and long-term vision. Outside of work, Jim is deeply involved in his community. He has been married to Mary since 1977 and they have five children and seven grandchildren. Jim is an active member of Pure Heart Christian Fellowship, a past president of the Northwest Christian Business Networking Chapter, and a Chaplain who enjoys playing softball.




Mary Tewalt

Office Manager and Notary Public


Mary Tewalt ensures the smooth operation of EPS Wealth Management by coordinating client meetings, managing project timelines, and keeping the office organized. As a certified Notary Public, she also handles legal document signings for clients.

Mary has been married to Jim since 1977, and they have five children and seven grandchildren. For the past 17 years, Mary has made regular journeys to Mexico, devoting herself to guiding and mentoring a women's Christian group. Through her dedication, she has nurtured faith and strengthened a sense of community among its members. In her free time, she enjoys decorating and refinishing furniture.




Brandon Tewalt

Licensed Insurance Agent


Brandon Tewalt is a licensed insurance agent at EPS Wealth Management, bringing a fresh perspective to life insurance and annuities. With an associate’s degree in communications and a background as a professional TV/Film actor (SAG/AFTRA member), Brandon excels in building relationships and crafting personalized solutions. He’s helped modernize his father’s 40-year-old business through rebranding and process updates. Outside the office, Brandon prioritizes a healthy lifestyle and enjoys regular gym workouts. He’s dedicated to providing tailored insurance and expertise with clarity and compassion.




Barbara Lucas

Accounting


Barbara Lucas manages the accounting operations at EPS Wealth Management and brings valuable experience from her background in corporate management. As a certified Notary Public, she also handles legal document signings for clients.

A passionate volunteer, Barbara supports Missions and Outreach projects at her church. She enjoys working closely with clients to help meet their financial goals.




Alex Miller

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)


With 33 years of experience in financial planning, Alex Miller is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) at EPS Wealth Management. He brings expertise across a wide range of financial disciplines and has held diverse roles throughout his career. Originally from New York, Alex lived in the Valley of the Sun for 15 years with his wife Sharon and their two dogs, Casper and Buddy.

Passionate about helping others secure their financial futures, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading God’s word, and maintaining their landscaping. He also loves antique shopping with Sharon.




Steven Rust

Client Communications Manager


Steven Rust is the Client Communications Manager at EPS Wealth Management. With years of experience in operations and project management, primarily in electronics and telecom, Steven excels at problem-solving and assisting others.

He is married to Judy and enjoys spending time with their son and five grandchildren.




Scott Isaacs

Technical Researcher/Compliance Manager at EPS


Scott is a Technical Researcher at EPS, bringing over 25 years of experience in the defense and finance sectors. A former Navy veteran, Scott dedicated much of his career to the Department of Defense, specializing in contract management systems software design and testing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Finance. Scott is also actively working towards his Series 65 Securities License and Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certifications. He enjoys connecting with others and finds great satisfaction in discovering ways to help people. Scott is a Montana native and outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and travel photography.




Randy Houston

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)


Randy Huston, CFP®, is a seasoned financial planner with over 30 years of experience in charitable trust administration and tax planning. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master’s in Social Science, and specializes in helping clients incorporate charitable trusts into their financial strategies. As a co-owner of Yellowstone Trust Administration, Inc., Randy administers approximately 500 charitable trusts nationwide, partnering with attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors to provide expert guidance on charitable tax law and trust management. Nate Iwinski

Director of Social Media


Nate Iwinski came to EPS as Jim’s book editor and to serve as Director of Social Media. Nate has written several books and has been shaping stories for over seven years. His expertise in writing spans imaginative books, crafting narratives, and editing will be used to draft legal documents including Living Trust Portfolios, Bylaws, Operating Agreements, and Business Succession Plans. As an older sibling in his family, a storyteller, and a dedicated wordsmith, Nate brings a keen eye for detail, a desire to guide and protect, a love for films and an appreciation for snappy, creative writing to every project he touches.
